Types of harmonies, or, What is the difference between lameness and turtle?

Harmonie is one of the favorite musical instruments of the Russian people. It is believed that the very first accordion was invented in Germany, but the Germans themselves are confident in the Russian origin of this keyboard-pneumatic instrument. In this article we will consider some types of harmonies that are popular in our country. LATER: WILL IT PLAY A CHROMATIC GAMA ON IT? It is with a limp that many Russians associate the word “accordion”. Some music-savvy people are surprised at one fact: the lameness of the lameness is based on the major scale, while the harmonica is called chromatic. It does not play all the flats or sharps, but still there are 3 midtones in the upper right corner of the keyboard. There are several varieties of lameness, the most famous of which are Nizhny Novgorod lameness, Cyril lameness and Vyatka lameness. They all have the same design, but the sound of each of these varieties is unique. Therefore, they are very easy to distinguish by ear. TULA LONELINE: It turns out that the sound is not the same when the furs are stretched and compressed … If you take all kinds of accordions that exist today, then the Tula single-row is clearly distinguished from the general series, it is a favorite, folk instrument. The sound capabilities of most harmonies are determined by the interval structure of the scale, but in the case of the “Guest from Tula” the correlation with the movement of the fur is the determining factor. Tula odnoryadka has many varieties, the main difference between each of them is the number of buttons on the keyboard of the right and left hand. The most popular option is the accordion with 7 buttons on the keyboard of the right hand and 2 buttons on the keyboard of the left hand. ELETS’S HARMONY: HARMONY-SEMI-AACCOURDEON? Some types of harmonies are not “pure”, one example of such an instrument is the Yelets accordion. It cannot be called a “purebred” accordion, as it is considered a direct ancestor of the accordion. The right keyboard of the instrument has flats and sharps, i.e. a full chromatic scale. The left keyboard can be called a fretboard with chords and bass keys. For all the time of its development, and the first Eletsky accordion appeared in the distant 19th century, its functional part and appearance changed. But one thing has always remained the same – great musical and technical capabilities. TURTLE: TO LOVERS OF SMALL HARMOSCHES The main feature of the tool is its compact size. The first types of Turtles had no more than 7 keys, the range of more modern options increased due to the expansion of the keyboard to 10 keys. The harmony system is diatonic; different sounds are made during compression and expansion of bellows. There are several varieties of the Turtle: “with four keys”, “Nevsky Turtle” and “Warsaw Turtle”. The latter option is considered the most modern, all the keys corresponding to the tongues and melodies are transferred in it from the left keyboard to the right. These and other varieties of harmonies, such as the Russian “wreath”, talyanka, Pskov rezukha and others, were, are and remain the favorite instruments of the Russian inhabitants, despite the fact that more than 150 years have passed since the harmonies appeared!
